The Environmental Protection Festival was held on 26 November 2000. The ceremony was officiated by Mrs. Lily Yam, JP, Secretary for the Environment and Food Bureau. The event was held at the Kowloon Park with an environmental protection carnival being the main attraction. The Green Council’s educational booth attracted over 2,000 visitors.
