On 29 November 2001, in collaboration with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (Hong Kong Section), City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MMNC Division), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (HK Branch), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in organizing the Symposium. It was intended to raise public awareness and to promote uniform standards, procedures and protocols in indoor air quality and energy efficient building designs and systems. Local and overseas environmental experts were invited with 400 participants attending the Symposium. The Symposium witnessed our efforts to encourage improvements in indoor air quality.
